Reading glasses and multi-distance glasses are both designed to improve near vision, but they work differently:
Reading glasses
have a single diopter throughout the entire lens. They are ideal for reading but do not provide clear vision beyond reading distance.
Multi-distance glasses feature a degressive diopter, meaning the correction gradually decreases from bottom to top:
The lower part of the lens is optimized for reading.
The rest of the lens is designed for activities such as computer work, social interactions, and tasks requiring clear vision up to 3 meters.
🚨 Warning: These glasses are not meant for long-distance vision, as the upper part of the lens still has a correction. They do not replace regular distance glasses.
If you need a versatile solution for close-up and intermediate activities, multi-distance glasses are a great choice!
Nooz glasses are not suitable for astigmatism, they are designed for presbyopia only. If you have a prescription with negative diopters, Nooz glasses will not be suitable for you.
Since all our glasses are pre-mounted, we will not be able to adapt them to your prescription, but you can have the lenses changed at an optician’s.
Nooz glasses are ready-to-wear glasses designed for presbyopia only, therefore they cannot be adapted to your prescription.
We do not provide custom made glasses, only an optician will be able to adapt them to your eyesight by replacing the lenses.
To know the strength you need for the Nooz, you can print our eyesight test, available here.
Nooz glasses are unifocal and cannot have a different diopter on each lens. They aren’t available with negative diopters either.
These are the 5 corrections we offer:
+1.00
+1.50
+2.00
+2.50
+3.00
If you have a quarter diopter, we advise you to choose the lower diopter.
